  We made a reservation for New Years Eve, party of 6 at 8pm. To say the experience was disappointing is an understatement! Not just the esthetics of the interior, unpainted walls, exposed framing, just unfinished and dreary. The service was poor, (restaurant was not full and no one waiting) we waited about 10 to 15 minutes before anyone came to the table for a drink order, "water with lemon please" not so much, had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes to get anyone to even ask for a lemon it was then brought on a napkin. Highlight was the crab cakes but even they were not cooked evenly but had good flavor. I ordered steak frittes medium rare, my son order prime rib medium rare, mine came out medium WELL, no flavor, overcooked and tough, I could not eat it, the prime rib came out all but raw. Everyone finished their meals before our server came to ask how things were. I told her about my meal and she said "oh, it's overcooked? " I'll take it off and did offer to get something else but at that point as I said everyone else was finished with their meals so really pointless. I did have creme Brule and that was okay. There was also entertainment in the bar that was way too loud in the dining room and frankly not entertaining at all! I had been to this establishment several times when it was Cliff's and was NEVER disappointed, I can not say that now that it has changed hands. The menu was not great and the specials for it being a holiday were boring as well. I wish I had a better experience I really used to LOVE it here! Not such a Happy New Year dinner!

  The food is above average for pub fare and the craft beer selection is decent. Great views of Saratoga lake from the outdoor dining areas. A little noisy in the bar area at times but as a local gathering spot that's to be expected. Great service every time we've been there.
